The MPU 300 Oxygen delivery systems constitute a major breakthrough in the ability of any emergency services to deal with the aftermath of a major incident. It is capable of providing a sustained supply of medical oxygen for up to 48 casualties from one unit at 8 litres per minute for 30 minutes. With four pressure outlets onto which all accessories are fitted producing up to 48 oxygen delivery points. The unit is driven by 4 x 10 litre 300 bar lightweight cylinders producing a total capacity of 13,600 litres (equivalent to 10 standard size F’s). Add to this 30 metres of oxygen hose reel or several reels and immediately patients at a distance can be treated. Additional standby trolleys carrying 4 spare cylinders each are available. For safety the MPU unit clamps conveniently to the vehicle floor.
